Montana based rapper & songwriter Preston Wayne has an innate way of connecting with his listeners from the moment they hear his sound. With a love for writing rhymes and stanzas from the age of 11, he would go on to get his musical inspiration from a wide range of creatives such as Prince, Michael Jackson, T Pain, J Dilla, Eminem, 50 Cent, Jeremih, and the late Mac Miller.
At the age of 17, he was faced with the decision to pursue music or sports. With dreams of stardom, the local fanfare began as he opened up shows for the likes of Kirko Bangz & The Game in his home state. On other days he would call ID LABS home of Mac Miller & Wiz Khalifa asking to book studio sessions. He would go on to record a project with the ID LABS team as all of his calls paid off.
At 21, Preston has a sound that is equipped with eccentric lyricism and wavy melodies that reveal an artist unafraid of taking the urban sound with a hint rhythmic pop to the next level.
